As mentioned in an old blog post, I have finally bought and set up a real server rack (as opposed to the lone Raspberry Pi 4 I had laying around).
It's very suitable for my needs (although I am yet to set one of the racks up due to a lack of cables on my end, ordered more though), and should allow me to host many more fun things for you people to enjoy (I have many fun fun things in the works). The setup was quite janky though as I found that the rails I had ordered were too long for the cabinet, so instead I fabricated some shelves using wooden boards and held them up inside the cabinet by using the clip in nut things that the cabinet came with, this seems to be quite a robust solution for holding the servers in place and keeping the cabinet organised. I've got it running Soybuntu Server instead of Arch (which I had planned to run) as I found that Arch was unable to format the 3TB drives properly (although I know that this is likely a me problem), ironically however Soybuntu Server has created a 100GB partition instead of taking up the entire 3TB drive like it said it would and I believe this has something to do with LVM, so I'll look into that (I really am good at this).
